AJM Fire Safety Ltd has launched a brand-new fire-door Knowledge Hub on their website. The Knowledge Hub includes free to access videos, blogs, tips and tricks all related to fire doors.
The aim of the Knowledge Hub is to improve the standard of free materials available for fire-door inspectors, maintainers and installers. The videos have been professionally produced and are designed to be easily consumable. Typically lasting 60–90 seconds the videos cover topics such as How to Install a Fire Door or The 5 Step Check.
There are also articles that cover good installation practice, hardware and British Standards summaries as well as free downloads for responsible persons to carry out maintenance checks on their fire doors.
Jonny Millard, General Manager of AJM, says: ‘We have been building the Fire Door Knowledge Hub for over six months now. It was important to us that the information was accessible and easy to watch. Throughout my career in the fire industry, I have found that the online materials related to fire doors are outdated, too long and not very engaging. We really want to make learning resources more accessible for operatives, responsible persons and inspectors in the UK.’
AJM Fire Safety plans to improve and add to the Knowledge Hub as time goes on. The long-term aim is to build a resource centre that provides just as much content and knowledge as someone would expect from a paid course.
Jonny Millard added: ‘We passionately believe in improving the standard of knowledge and competency in the fire door industry. Hopefully, people will appreciate the free content and find their knowledge improve as they engage with the content.’
Andrew Millard, Managing Director says: ‘The Knowledge Hub is something we are incredibly pleased to be launching. The content is great and very educational. It is not a static project, it will be added to and improved over time.’
AJM Fire Safety was established in 2019 and provides fire door inspections, maintenance and installations. To find out more about the Knowledge Hub visit ajmfiresafety.com/knowledge-hub
