Dräger, an international leader in medical and safety technology, has launched a survey to uncover what more can be done to support firefighter health and safety, and in particular firefighters’ attitudes to wellbeing in a post-Covid world.
The survey will gather a range of perspectives from firefighters to Chief Fire Officers and procurement professionals, to find out any broader concerns they may have towards exposure to carcinogens and how the pandemic has influenced their future thinking around health and hygiene.
As well as determining the importance of existing cleaning regimes for breathing apparatus and masks, it also seeks to discover what future technologies are being considered to protect long-term health, including the location of firefighters and physical strain monitoring.
The survey is hosted online, will take approximately five minutes to complete, and is completely anonymous. The results will be used to support Dräger’s teams in further understanding their customers’ needs and priorities and developing new solutions to ultimately protect lives.
