Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service remain on scene at a large fire in an industrial unit in Rochdale. Crews were called at around 0120 hours on Thursday 8 February and at its peak up to 100 firefighters were in attendance.
Schools in the area are closed and a number of homes had to be evacuated due to the smoke from the fire. In addition, trains have been disrupted in the area.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service report that the fire is now under control.
