Primetech, the emergency services technology and solutions company, has appointed former senior firefighter and fire industry director and consultant Wayne Porter as Sales Manager, UK/Europe/Middle East.
In his new role Wayne will be responsible for sales management for the expanding range of Primetech products and brands – the MultiPod® lightweight, portable storage family for sub 3.5 tonne vehicles, misting and piercing firefighting systems such as Mist Tech and the Ultra Compact Cold Cut Cobra, mobile satellite broadband, ICU systems integration, and incident ground communications systems such as the MultiNet Comms range. FireCam OnCall heat resistant helmet and body-worn cameras, EasyTrac mobility matting, and Self Contained Communications Trailers are also part of the fast-growing Primetech product range.
‘We are absolutely delighted that Wayne is joining the growing Primetech team as Sales Manager for the UK, Europe and the Middle East,’ said Henry Walker, Primetech director. ‘Wayne has had 22 years of practical experience as a highly trained firefighter at Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service, during which time he completed a wide range of firefighting, training, standards definition and instructing tasks.
‘Since leaving the fire service in 2010 Wayne has worked as a director or consultant with leading companies in fire support industries, which has included being involved with projects such as airport firefighting training, Atomic Weapons Establishment facilities, fire training and simulation facilities and other projects in the UK, Greece, Holland, Germany and Guyana.
‘Now, with his appointment at Primetech, we will be able to draw on his extensive firefighting expertise to help fire and rescue services, airport and gas and oil terminal fire services, and other emergency service agencies, assess and introduce the wide range of Primetech solutions in support of improved public safety.’
‘I am very pleased to have been given the opportunity to join Primetech (UK) Ltd, especially as I have known Henry and his team for several years’, said Wayne Porter.
‘Bringing both my Fire Service background, and more recent experience working in emergency-related companies, I look forward to supporting Primetech in its continued delivery of quality products and services, in particular, the launch of the new MistTech misting range and continued support for the lightweight Ultra Compact Cold Cut Cobra cutting system.’
Primetech has been serving emergency service, government, banking and business customers for many years, and is widely recognised for its high business and technical standards, and its track record of developing and introducing cutting-edge systems and technologies that support faster, more effective and lower cost emergency response.
