MAWWFRS Authority Draft Strategic Plan 2022-2027 and Annual Business Improvement Plan 2022-2023
The closing date for the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority Draft Strategic Plan 2022–2027 and Annual Business Improvement Plan 2022–2023 consultation period is approaching.
This is your Fire and Rescue Service, and we want to know what you think of the services we provide and how you believe we can continue to make improvements and future savings.
Our Strategic Plan is designed to deliver our vision, mission and values, and will be delivered by the Annual Business Improvement Plan, which highlights what we will do in the coming business year to deliver against our five-year Commitments. The Annual Business Improvement Plan also contains seven Improvement and Well-being Objectives for 2022/2023, which have been aligned to our longer-term Commitments, set out within our Strategic Plan 2022–2027 and to the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 Wellbeing Goals.
We believe that collaborative working is the future of the emergency services, enabling us to improve the way we work, share our people and financial resources, and ultimately save more lives. We are also committed to finding innovative solutions to improve the way we work, improve firefighter safety, reduce our impact on the environment and ultimately contribute to the well-being of our communities.
There are only a few weeks left to ‘have your say’ on the proposals outlined within our Draft Strategic Plan and Annual Business Improvement Plan. If you wish to comment on the plan, please ensure you do so before the closing date of Friday, 3 December 2021.
